Formed over Facetime, Sleeping Together emerged out of the other side of lockdown to bring big beats, catchy riffs and good vibes back to the Indie scene. The band officially started ‘Sleeping Together’ in late 2022, just before the release of their debut single ‘Summer Girl’. Representing the North-West, the band consists of Alexander Lloyd-Jones (Vocalist), Amber Hughes (Drums), Daniel Turton (Bass Guitar) and Mike Corry (Lead Guitar).
Being renowned for their energetic live shows, Sleeping Together’s sound has been described as “a nod to the upbeat melodies of The Strokes, with a bit of Arctic Monkeys/Libertines angst thrown in”. With a twist on the modern indie rock band, Sleeping Together create a sonic landscape that mirrors the euphoria and heartaches of adolescence, with a distinctive blend of scratchy guitars and poetic storytelling.
